Piece to Peace Counselling is a private counselling and therapy service located primarily in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire and Stamford, Lincolnshire. I currently provide telephone and online sessions, as well as 'walk & talk' therapy sessions at Castor and Burghley Park in Stamford.

Throughout our lives we will experience events that have an impact on our health and well-being, as well as obstacles that we may struggle to overcome. We often focus on our physical health and can sometimes forget that our mental health is not only equally as important, but also inextricably linked. It is unlikely that you will go through life without having to visit a doctor for a physical ailment, so why should our mental health be any different? Just like physical wounds need help to heal, so do our minds. Life can sometimes be distressing, confusing and disappointing and can leave you feeling sad, angry, afraid or overwhelmed. You may have experienced a life-changing event, or you may just find yourself feeling lost, unfulfilled or that something is missing in your life. It is not always easy to share with others, especially if there is a fear of being judged or appearing vulnerable, and that is why a lot of people turn to counselling.
At Piece to Peace Counselling, I provide a safe, confidential, non-judgemental, supportive environment where you can explore the issues that might be causing you pain, uncertainty or concern. My aim is to listen to you in an empathic way so you feel heard and understood and help you to make sense of your feelings and emotions. My work with you will involve exploring how you can empower yourself, or what might be getting in the way and holding you back. I will also help you to understand what you are experiencing by asking appropriate (sometimes challenging) questions, support you in making positive changes in your life and assist you to increase your general sense of well-being and happiness.
